WE ARE NOT HERE TO MAKE YOU SMILE BUT ASSURE THAT YOU DON’T CRY IN NEXT 2 YEARS.

If you are planning to pursue MBA/ PGDM or any other 2 years management program , you must be getting prospectus, calls, SMS, unwanted Emails and attractive offers to join their institutes, saying only good about them.Don’t get confuse with full page Ads stating ranks, hoardings, free laptop, free foreign tours and other offers designed to please or attract the students. Before applying – JUST THINK.

  • Essential information for you are institute’s approval/ affiliations, course name, course contents, faculties, industrial relations, batch intake, summer/ final placements, average placements, other campuses of the group, available specialization, infrastructure facilities and industrial exposure.
  • If institute is suitable as per your preferred location, paying capacity, academics, preferred specializations then apply moreover the most important criteria that institute is approved by AICTE/ UGC. It helps in education loan, placements and doing further studies.
  • Before following any one’s advice analyze your own choice, academic results and aptitude. Your coaching centers and education consultants should possess adequate domain knowledge and expertise to guide you for the right choice.
  • If anyone asks you to drop a year see what kind of options are available now and what hence. You cannot change your past academic scores, what maximum you can do is to improve entrance exam score. If you just missed TOP 25 INSTITUTES (received call but could not convert just by 5-7% or missed GD-PI) then think of dropping a year.
  • If your score is just about 50 – 60% or max 70%, STOP dreaming about to institues. Accept the reality and look for next best set of collegeges as per your suitability.
  • Difference between TOP 25 Brands and next 25 are just 15% to 20%. But it comes at a cost of one year (even that’s not sure). Ask are you ready for that?
  • Most of the rankings are governed by sponsors/ promoters of institute; AICTE/ UGC or any other govt. body do not give such rankings.
